Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, mobility, feeding)
- Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temperature, oxygen levels)
- Perform EKGs and collect lab specimens
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Document patient observations accurately in EMR systems
- Support nurses during emergency procedures
- Transport patients safely between departments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No medical experience necessary
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Weekend availability mandatory (no exceptions)
- CPR certification obtained during training
