Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under RN supervision (vital signs, mobility assistance)
- Perform EKGs and phlebotomy procedures post-training certification
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist with patient hygiene and comfort measures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing skill development workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No healthcare experience necessary (training provided)
- Valid BLS/CPR certification (provided during training)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Background check and drug screen required
- NYS Driver's License preferred
