Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist nurses with patient care procedures including wound care and mobility support
- Respond to patient calls and address immediate care needs during night shift
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Operate medical equipment including ECG monitors and infusion pumps
- Participate in shift handovers to maintain continuity of care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – training provided!
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided during training)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Empathetic communication style with diverse patient populations
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
