Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance transfers, and opening new accounts under supervision.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of bank products, services, and compliance regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the teller drawer to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities or potential fraud to branch management immediately.
- Build rapport with customers to provide exceptional service and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with the branch team to ensure a smooth and efficient banking experience for all clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
