Responsibilities
- Operate Company Vehicles: Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations in and around New York City.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and customers, ensuring satisfaction and resolving inquiries.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate counts, scanning, and documentation of shipments and packages.
- Maintenance: Keep the vehicle and workspace clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Training Execution: Complete all assigned training modules and safety certifications within the first 30 days.
Qualifications
- License Requirements: Valid driver's license (Class C or higher) and a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform standing or walking for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with handheld scanners or computer terminals.
