Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patrols of assigned commercial properties using advanced surveillance systems
- Monitor CCTV feeds and respond to security alerts with professional incident protocols
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed activity logs in digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations per established protocols
- Conduct fire safety inspections and emergency equipment checks
- Maintain professional communication with clients during routine interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to obtain DC Security Officer License (provided by company)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during night shifts
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Willingness to complete paid training program (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM)
