Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities under nursing supervision
- Monitor and document vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, O2)
- Perform EKGs and phlebotomy procedures post-training
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Coordinate with nursing staff for care plan implementation
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Safely operate medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift 50+ lbs
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and drug screen
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual a plus)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
