Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in EMR systems
- Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, mobility, feeding)
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for medical procedures
- Collaborate with RNs on patient care plans and interventions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond to emergency call codes with rapid team deployment
- Perform EKGs and phlebotomy procedures post-certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong communication skills for patient/family interactions
- Commitment to overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to complete hospital-specific training program
