Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, mobility, and nutrition
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures following clinical protocols
- Respond to patient call lights and provide timely assistance during night hours
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments and medical equipment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and address patient needs
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior medical experience necessary – training provided
- Basic computer literacy for electronic health record systems
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and compassion for patient care
- Reliability and punctuality for night shift schedule (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Valid CPR certification (provided during training)
