Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under RN supervision including vital signs, mobility assistance, and hygiene
- Accurately document patient observations in electronic health records
- Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
- Monitor equipment and maintain sterile environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond to patient call bells and emergencies promptly
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Valid Texas Driver's License (if transporting patients)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends/holidays required)
- Pass background check and drug screen
- Commitment to completing paid training program
