Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and assist with meal services
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients overnight
- Accurately complete electronic health records and care documentation
- Transport patients safely within the facility using proper equipment
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid CPR certification (provided during training)
- Compassionate demeanor with strong patient focus
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
