Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, corridors, and common areas
- Operate industrial-grade equipment including floor scrubbers and high-capacity vacuums
- Follow strict infection control protocols and OSHA safety standards
- Manage biohazard waste disposal and recycling procedures
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies in assigned zones
- Complete daily inspection reports using digital tracking systems
- Collaborate with security and nursing teams during night operations
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – full training provided
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic English proficiency for safety instructions and documentation
- Valid NY state ID or driver's license
- Ability to work independently in low-supervision environments
