Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive medical assistant training program including clinical procedures, EHR systems, and patient care protocols
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and patient education
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests under supervision
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and medical equipment
- Support front desk operations including registration and insurance verification
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong desire to grow in healthcare field
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn EHR systems
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain during training
- Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Background check and drug screen required
