Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive medical assistant training program covering clinical procedures and patient care
- Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures under supervision
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy after training certification
- Manage patient flow and maintain clean, organized exam rooms
- Update electronic health records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No prior medical experience required – we provide full training!
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain during training
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Pennsylvania residency required (training location-specific)
