Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital sign checks and basic patient assessments
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Administer injections and medications as trained
- Update electronic health records accurately
- Schedule patient appointments and handle phone inquiries
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EMR systems
