Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Assist in developing engaging content for blogs, social media platforms, and newsletters to increase brand visibility.
- Social Media Management: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and inquiries, and schedule posts using tools like Buffer or Hootsuite.
- SEO Support: Conduct keyword research and help optimize website content to improve search engine rankings.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of local marketing events and trade shows in the Lubbock area.
- Email Marketing: Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance reporting.
- Market Research: Gather and analyze data on competitors and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Administrative Support: Maintain marketing calendars and organize assets for the creative team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Organization: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
