Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the end-to-end architecture of the 2026 Protocol, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Lead a team of senior engineers and researchers in implementing complex distributed systems and consensus mechanisms.
- Define technical standards, coding conventions, and best practices for the development lifecycle.
- Conduct rigorous security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure system integrity against emerging threats.
- Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to translate strategic vision into technical roadmaps.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in decentralized systems, blockchain, or distributed ledger technologies.
- Deep expertise in languages such as Rust, Go, or C++, and familiarity with smart contract development.
- Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams through complex deployments.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, or quantum-resistant algorithms is a major plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
