Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to generate breakthrough concepts
- Present visionary frameworks to executive leadership and investor boards
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on future-facing industries
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of disrupting markets through trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
