Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping journey.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide detailed product knowledge and recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and stockroom.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking merchandise to ensure shelves are fully stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous retail experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and handling cash.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
