Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient support under clinical supervision (vital signs, mobility assistance, specimen collection)
- Accurately document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Assist with patient admission/discharge processes and appointment coordination
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols per OSHA standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Participate in weekend team huddles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete all required training modules within the first 90 days of employment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior healthcare experience required – we train from the ground up!
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn electronic health record systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (if transporting patients)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Background check and health screening required post-offer
- Must be available for all scheduled weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm)
