Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting abnormalities to nursing staff
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments following OSHA standards
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during night shifts
- Accurately document patient care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary—training provided
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (typically 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Background check and drug screen required post-offer
- Valid CPR certification (provided during training if needed)
