Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, mobility, meals)
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Maintain clean and organized patient care environments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams during shift transitions
- Respond to patient call bells promptly and compassionately
- Stock and maintain medical supplies in patient areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
