Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and consumer preferences in the Hampton Roads area.
- Manage and update the company website and blog content to ensure SEO best practices are met.
- Support the email marketing team in creating newsletters, promotional blasts, and drip campaigns.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare weekly performance reports for management.
- Represent the company at local networking events and community outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) and basic design software (Canva).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
