Responsibilities
- Process and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading and invoices, to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate freight scheduling and carrier selection to optimize delivery timelines.
- Communicate regularly with customers, drivers, and vendors to provide shipment status updates.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in warehouse organization and efficiency.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damages promptly and professionally.
- Utilize logistics management software to track shipments and update records in real-time.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred but not mandatory for all roles).
