Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, troubleshooting hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations, printers, and mobile devices for new hires.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, server health, and security protocols.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and service requests in our ticketing system (ServiceNow) to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to identify system trends and improve overall IT workflow efficiency.
- Conduct routine IT audits and inventory checks to ensure equipment is accounted for and functional.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and macOS, as well as basic knowledge of networking concepts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) within 12 months of employment.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for occasional site visits.
