Our 4-week paid training program covers patient care protocols, medical equipment operation, and HIPAA compliance. Upon completion, you'll be placed in a full-time role supporting hospitals, clinics, or senior care facilities across Metro Detroit.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient monitoring and basic care tasks
- Operate medical equipment under supervision (ECGs, vital signs monitors)
- Maintain clean and sanitized clinical environments
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Support patient transportation and movement safely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy for medical documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
