Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding products and services in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer emails in a timely and helpful fashion.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockrooms to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing product displays.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues effectively to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; GED is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical activities such as lifting boxes or stocking merchandise.
- Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends or evenings.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
