Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and content marketing.
- Manage and grow social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook by creating engaging posts and interacting with the community.
- Conduct keyword research and assist with basic SEO tasks to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with the design team to create compelling visual content, graphics, and copy for blogs, websites, and advertisements.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) using tools like Google Analytics to optimize campaign performance.
- Support the coordination of local events and community outreach programs to strengthen brand presence in the New Orleans area.
- Perform market research to identify trends, competitors, and audience preferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to write clear, engaging copy.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic understanding of social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or willingness to learn web analytics concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for design trends and visual aesthetics.
- Must reside in the Greater New Orleans area or be willing to commute to downtown New Orleans.
