Responsibilities
- Accurately input new and updated customer information, sales data, and inventory records into our secure database systems.
- Review source documents for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information before entering data.
- Verify and correct data discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems for easy retrieval.
- Perform regular data audits and reconcile reports to identify any potential issues.
- Communicate effectively with the team to resolve data-related queries and provide necessary updates.
- Assist in generating standard reports and summaries from the entered data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in business or data management is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry, clerical, or administrative roles.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40-50 WPM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and computer proficiency.
