Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist Customers: Welcome every guest with a smile, answer questions about our products and services, and provide exceptional customer support to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS): Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our modern POS systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing by restocking merchandise, folding items, and ensuring product displays are current.
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock counts, price checks, and organizing the stockroom to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate sales efforts and achieve daily and weekly store goals.
- Handle Returns & Exchanges: Process customer returns and exchanges courteously, verifying item condition and policies to maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to meet business demands.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic for cash handling and transactions.
- Reliability: A consistent work history and a reliable means of transportation.
