Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with precision
- Balance cash drawers daily and maintain accurate transaction records
- Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, and problem resolution
- Operate teller systems, scanners, and security devices per bank protocols
- Uphold strict compliance with banking regulations and anti-fraud procedures
- Participate in ongoing training to master new banking technologies and services
- Support branch operations through cross-functional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework preferred)
- Basic math aptitude and comfort handling cash transactions
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and operate computer systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
- Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and credit screening (minimum 600 score)
- Previous retail/cash handling experience a plus
