Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service during every interaction to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and provide information on our products and services.
- Operate the teller workstation efficiently and maintain strict adherence to security and compliance regulations.
- Balance the cash drawer daily and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Cross-sell banking products such as credit cards and loans to enhance customer relationships and meet branch goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional teller line area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills are essential for cash handling.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
