Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, check cashing, loan payments, and currency exchange.
- Build lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and personalized financial guidance.
- Assist in opening new deposit accounts, including checking and savings, and setting up direct deposits.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services, such as credit cards and investment accounts, to meet client needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller line environment, adhering to all bank compliance and security protocols.
- Assist in balancing daily cash drawers and resolving any discrepancies immediately.
- Support the branch manager with administrative tasks and lobby management during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience in retail or banking is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong basic math skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain necessary banking licenses and complete the required training program.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
