Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Introduce and explain banking products and services to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist in the processing of checks and electronic transfers using core banking software.
- Adhere to all bank security policies and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; prior banking experience is a plus but not mandatory for this trainee position.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patience and empathy.
- Reliable and punctual with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer navigation.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance may be required for branch coverage.
