Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with precision
- Deliver exceptional service by resolving inquiries and educating members on digital banking tools
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and adhere to strict security protocols
- Support branch operations through cross-training in account services and basic lending functions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve monthly sales goals for new accounts and services
- Uphold compliance with federal regulations and internal audit standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Minimum 6 months cash handling or customer service experience
- Proficiency with basic arithmetic and 10-key calculator
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
- Pass background check and credit union-specific training requirements
- Basic computer literacy with willingness to learn proprietary banking software
