As a Trainee, you will work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in cash management, account maintenance, and financial product sales.
Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and resolving complex transactions.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales targets and contribute to team growth.
- Maintain the accuracy of the cash drawer and perform daily reconciliation reports.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with the local community and branch clients.
- Ensure the branch lobby and teller lines remain organized, clean, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory for the right trainee.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a focus on courtesy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
