Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a smile, providing exceptional service at the teller line.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers accurately and efficiently.
- Cross-sell bank products such as CDs, savings accounts, and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in opening new accounts and completing Know Your Customer (KYC) forms.
- Learn and adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller workstation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with precision.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Willingness to obtain necessary banking certifications (e.g., CRCM) as required.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with financial software is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
