Responsibilities
- Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with 100% accuracy
- Assist members with account inquiries, loan applications, and product promotions
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain strict adherence to security protocols
- Operate digital banking tools and educate members on mobile/online services
- Uphold compliance with federal regulations (Reg CC, BSA, AML) and credit union policies
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for credit/debit products and investment services
- Contribute to branch goals through proactive member engagement and relationship building
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- Minimum 6 months customer service or cash handling experience
- Basic mathematical aptitude with attention to detail in transaction processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn banking software quickly
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle cash transactions securely
- Must pass background check and credit union compliance training
- Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays as needed
