Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle daily customer transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and account transfers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our clients by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Cash Handling: Maintain and balance the cash drawer daily, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and security protocols.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services to help them achieve their goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions and customer interactions comply with federal and state banking regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teller team members and branch management to achieve branch targets and operational efficiency.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns professionally and efficiently, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; coursework in finance or business is a plus.
- Math Skills: Strong proficiency in basic arithmetic and attention to detail is essential for accurate cash handling.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is preferred but not required for our Trainee program.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ethical behavior and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new banking software and systems.
