Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and perform daily reconciliation
- Open new accounts and assist with consumer loan applications
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior staff
- Adhere to bank security protocols and anti-money laundering regulations
- Actively promote digital banking solutions to enhance customer experience
- Participate in ongoing training to master banking products and services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business preferred
- Minimum 6 months customer service or cash handling experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to operate basic office equipment and learn proprietary software
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must pass background check and credit review
- Basic knowledge of financial regulations a plus
