Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for a diverse client base.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional face-to-face service, answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Product Sales: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products such as debit cards, credit cards, and savings accounts to meet branch goals.
- Compliance: Adhere to strict banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.
- Problem Solving: Assist customers with account inquiries, balance discrepancies, and troubleshooting technical issues at the ATM or lobby kiosks.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with branch managers and senior staff to ensure daily branch operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is preferred but not mandatory for Trainee positions.
- Skills: Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank software.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professional demeanor.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with people from all backgrounds.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
