Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and AGI alignment
- Produce annual 'State of Tech' reports with predictive analytics for Fortune 500 clients
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and other innovation hubs
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech integrations
- Mentor a team of 12 futurist researchers and engineers
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through strategic grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in future-focused roles
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks governing emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Public speaking record at TED, Davos, or equivalent high-impact forums
