Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends through 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof products and services
- Present compelling future narratives to stakeholders via executive briefings and industry conferences
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development lifecycle and corporate strategy
- Publish thought leadership on future of work, human-machine collaboration, and sustainable tech
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous strategic challenges
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks implemented in enterprise environments
