Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and emerging fields to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic innovation roadmap aligned with corporate objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster future-thinking culture and innovation adoption
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into development pipelines
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and scenario planning frameworks for leadership decision-making
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex technical concepts
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies or high-growth tech startups
- Portfolio of published futurism research or strategic frameworks
