Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies, societal shifts, and market opportunities through 2030
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework for the organization
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and curate an external ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Design and implement innovation methodologies to embed future-thinking across departments
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: scenario planning, Delphi studies, and trend analysis
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change
- Published work or speaking engagements at futurism conferences preferred
