Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology sectors
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for global market volatility and black swan events
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire transformative startups
- Present strategic foresight to Fortune 500 executives and government stakeholders
- Drive R&D investment decisions with $50M+ annual budget authority
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Innovation, or related quantitative field
- 10+ years in strategic innovation with Fortune 100 or unicorn-scale companies
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (IEEE/MIT/Forbes)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to $1B+ valuation
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AGI, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Credibility with C-suite executives and industry influencers
