Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum computing, biotech integration, etc.)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global R&D centers
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging tech trends
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation-first culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in launching market-defining tech products/services
- Expertise in emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Strong financial modeling and ROI analysis capabilities
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
